Roadmap Program
Colorado COVID-19 Regional Resiliency and Recovery Roadmaps
COVID-19 represents one of the greatest disruptions of our lifetimes, requiring our communities to partner across jurisdictional boundaries in order to effectively respond to change and elevate community assets to solve shared problems. We are excited to offer communities an opportunity to work together to support diversifying and strengthening their economies while building your region’s resiliency.
About the Program & Partners
The Roadmaps Program brings together 16 Regional Community Teams made up of over 150 rural jurisdictions in addition to non-governmental partners. Since November 2021, these local partners have been actively working with the State and their own Roadmaps consultant to prioritize and strategize around shared regional objectives through a two-year planning and implementation process.
Each Regional Community Team has developed a Roadmap that will result in regionally-aligned and actionable strategies that will help Colorado's rural communities recover from COVID and be more resilient to future disruptions. Get involved:
The goals and strategies in each region are forward-thinking and ambitious, requiring organizational and community support. Please email either the Roadmaps Program Manager, Marguerite Harden, at marguerite.harden@state.co.us or reach out directly to the contact listed for your region on the RoadMaps StoryMap.
We envision that by identifying, including, and serving disproportionately impacted and socially or economically disadvantaged groups through the Roadmaps Program, these populations will be less vulnerable and less impacted during future shocks and stressors. We are taking an inclusive approach to the Roadmaps planning process and we encourage community organizations to get involved in their region and/or in the planning process across regions.
The State will continue to engage all Roadmap and rural communities through our e-newsletter that goes out as-needed (generally on a ~quarterly basis). View past e-newsletters and sign-up here to stay in touch on relevant funding, technical assistance, and program highlights:
